Job description:
This job position will be responsible for studying & evaluating the nation-wide market demands using CDF (customer demand forecasting) and converting them to most optimized production and scheduling plan ensuring minimum CFR loss, minimum changeovers and maximizing plant line utilization. There is responsibility to communication and coordination among Out Bound-SC/Inbound-SC/Plant teams/Agro in the form of an Integrating Master Business Plan that takes a holistic look at plant capacities in line with business demand.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage volume to optimize use of available capacity across both Sundar & Multan.
- Present IMBP and production plan by the 2nd of every month and share “latest estimates” on closing inventory in the flavour and price point level by the 3rd of every month with Finance planning team
- Liaise with the demand planner to review weekly forecast @ channel/DC and SKU level from the Supply perspective.
- Liaison with demand planner and ensure that forecast is being generated on the right item profile @ channel/DC and SKU level.
Ensure orphan data management up-to-date in ISCP- SP modules (TS, DPP and RP) for 100 % demand compliance. - Liaise with SP lead to review MRP output and align RPM material availability in synch with production plans of both plants.
- Support NPI agenda by providing timely and accurate progress tracking against SLA.
- Review AOP volume and map available capacities (packaging and processing) month on month in Supply reviews and share if there any watch-out.
- Review and ensure that there is daily production plan compliance @ SKU level.
- Lead the weekly S&OE forum & strengthen S&OP process and synch numbers with ISCP DP vs.
- Servicing of optimum market demand staying within production constraints & maximizing plant capacity utilization for Production lines both at Sundar & Multan.
- Leading and organizing weekly planning meeting forums to ensure business objectives are aligned and delivered as per AOP numbers.
- Run the risk assessment and develop the mitigation plan and set the control to save from risk.
- Ensure all the activities are as per GCS controls guideline.
